I am unable to find records for Kuolajarvi. I am researching a number of relatives that show Kuolajarvi as the town but can not locate it in Hiski or FFHA. What town would hold Kuolajarvi records?

Kuolajärven alue on ollut osaksi Kemijärveä ja Sallaa. Sallan seurakunnasta löytyy rippikirjoja, joissa on tietoja kuolajärveläisistä, esimerkiksi

Thanks to all of you for replying on this Holy day. I wasn't at all sure where to begin to look but thanks to you I have Kemijarvi, Salla, and Kuusamo to review.
