Meaning of Juvenis

Under a Hiski record I found an ancestor (Jacobus Ruuth) marriage record and before his name it says Juvenis. Can you please tell me what that means? Before his wife's name it said Pig. which I think means maiden.
Thank you
Janice

Seems to be Latin for young man.

Thank you for sending me additional web links to look up unusual wording. If it's in Hiski it shouldn't be too bad to find a meaning but if it's hand written I doubt that I will be able to read it and would have to send it for your expertise. I see your reply was in August and it is now October. Sorry for the delay, my area was hit by flash flooding on June 19th and everyone has spent the entire summer cleaning and repairing the property outside and now contractors are coming in to make repairs inside, mainly in my basement. First time I've experienced a flood, at night no less. I woke up to see white caps in my back yard, very odd to see and then it became scary. But it's pretty much behind us now and next spring we can redesign our flower beds and yards. Can't imagine the rocks, wood debris and sand dunes left behind in our yards. This was one of those times when living by a creek was horrific.
Thank you so much for getting back to me and I apologize for not getting back sooner.
