Hello, I am really stumped. I have tried Hiski and FFHA with no luck. I need the date of marriage/place of marriage BUT because I can not locate the 'Bride' I can not match up the Groom.
Here is what I have found so far.
Groom: JUHO PEHRSS MAANINGA (or Maaninka)
Born 22 Feb 1817 Alakitka, Oulun Laani
Died 19 Jul 1903 Alakitka, Oulun Laani
HIS father being Pehr Andrss Maaninga
Born 20 Jan 1796 Alakitka, Oulun Laani
Died 25 FEB 1877 Alakitka, Oulun Laani

Now for the lovely Bride: VALPURI PEKANTYTAR (I know the tytar means daughter but I am finding
a number of variations for the name beginning
with Pekan but none has a daughter named Valpuri, Walborg, Valborg?
Born 30 Nov 1828 Place: Unknown and would like to know where she was born
Died 11 Mar 1890 Place: Unknown and would like to know where she died

I got her information from a Finnish Family tree from a member living in Finland and it did not get me very far and this is the only name I can find for Juho.
Can you help me?

Hello, I reviewed your links and it looks like the first 2 links refer to Juho's parents (Pehr Andrss Maaninga and Greta Sackinen)
and the 3rd link is for Walborg Maaninga if I am reading correctly.

Can you try this? Marriage for Juho Pehrss Maaninga and Valpuri Pekantytar. Their first child (Juho Pekka Juhonpoika Maaninga) was born 28 July 1850 so the marriage would be around that time- 1848-1849 in Kuusamo area or North Ostro area?
I don't know the towns/villages well enough to search other areas.
