Mattz Oja Communion entry-Rovaniemi
Mattz Oja Communion entry-Rovaniemi

Could you please check the link above and tell me if this is a Communion page for Mattz Oja and his family.
My question is, if it is for Mattz, is the name below his that of a wife named Anna and are the children listed below her?
Lastly, can you see any reference to their ages? I don't think there are any dates for births, only communion information.
Thank You
Janice

Re: Mattz Oja Communion entry-Rovaniemi
Yes, it is a page of Communion Book, here it is a tad clearer

In this old CBs the ages are not always mentioned, and if they are, the figures are VERY unreliable. In fact, no one knew how old those people were, so at best the ages are guesswork.
And yes, the head of family is Matts Oja, then hustru (wife) Anna. The following persons are mod. = mother, syst. = sister (thrice) and probably Broder = brother. No children mentioned.

Hello, EevaH
Thank you for your reply. I can get a lot of information from your answer. With this being Mattz and Anna's entries then I can build more members of the family. Mattz mother and his siblings will be added.
Thank you again.
Have a nice week.

Re: Mattz Oja Communion entry-Rovaniemi
Could be
Syst. Stina
Broder Henrich
Syst. Stina
Broder Henrich
Re: Mattz Oja Communion entry-Rovaniemi
Yes, I think Kumpula got it right. The last sister's name is unclear, but Stina is the nearest existing name.
Re: Mattz Oja Communion entry-Rovaniemi
The last sister before Henrich is Lijsa, you can see this better on the 1715-1720 page:

Thank you all so much for your help. Sometimes the names can be hard to read and the longer you look at it the more confused you get.
I appreciate all that you do for me.
Kiitos
